Remembering Our Twinkle Toes

It is with immense sadness that everyone at Ongar Juniors Football Club remembers our much-loved former and recently returning player, George Dennis, who tragically lost his life in a road traffic accident.

George first joined the Ongar Juniors U9 Blues in 2023 and quickly became an important part of the team.

Playing in central midfield, his brilliant technical ability earned him the nickname “Twinkle Toes”, and during his first season he was deservedly named Most Improved Player.

George was far more than a talented young footballer. He was a natural leader who always wore a huge smile, loved learning and was an absolute pleasure to coach.

Away from the pitch, George was a devoted Tottenham Hotspur supporter who loved attending matches with his family and friends.

George made a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He will always remain a special part of the Ongar Juniors family and will never be forgotten.

Our thoughts, love and deepest condolences remain with George’s family, friends, teammates, coaches and everyone affected by this unimaginable loss.

All proceeds from the auction will go to George’s family, subject only to any clearly disclosed payment-processing or delivery costs.

Successful bidders must make payment within 48 HOURS of being notified.

Auction items will not be released until full payment has been received.
